What makes Feedback by Derek Webb notable?

Feedback received critical acclaim for its innovative approach to the Lord's Prayer, presenting each line as a standalone track while inviting listeners into a deeper theological conversation. The album's unique structure and contemporary sound resonated within the Christian music scene, prompting discussions about the relevance of traditional prayers in modern worship contexts. Upon releasing Feedback in 2010, Derek Webb was transitioning from his earlier work as a member of Caedmon's Call to a more solo-focused career. This album marked his fourth studio release, following the politically charged Stockholm Syndrome, showcasing a shift towards exploring spiritual themes through the lens of personal reflection and community.

Feedback works well if you're into steady reflections on spirituality, contemplative morning listening ritual and intimate acoustic moments of prayer.
