What makes Rising by Great White notable?

Rising received mixed reviews but was significant for being Great White's effort to reconnect with fans following a tumultuous period, including the tragic Station nightclub fire in 2003 that claimed lives and affected their legacy. The lead single 'All or Nothin'' helped re-establish their presence on the hard rock charts, evidencing their continued relevance. Released in 2009, Rising marked Great White's first studio album in nearly a decade since their previous full-length, Recovering the Satellites in 2000. At this point, the band was attempting to reclaim their place in the hard rock scene after years of lineup changes and a shifting musical landscape. The album features new material showcasing their evolution while retaining classic elements from their earlier work.

Rising works well if you're into steady, consistent energy levels, long, immersive listening sessions and dynamic emotional journeys.
