Her ability to blend elements of jazz and neo-soul reflects not only her personal artistry but also a broader cultural shift towards authenticity and emotional depth in music, resonating with audiences seeking connection in an increasingly fragmented world. Her approach is marked by a meticulous attention to sonic detail, layering rich textures that reflect her background in jazz while incorporating contemporary rhythms and vocal stylings. This fusion creates a space where improvisation meets structured songwriting, allowing her performances to feel both intimate and expansive. 9m88's music often invites listeners into a realm where spontaneity and careful craftsmanship coexist, pushing the boundaries of what her chosen genres can express. In her songwriting, common themes revolve around self-discovery, love, and the complexities of modern relationships, often conveyed through a narrative lens that balances sincerity with playful irony.
