By integrating traditional sounds with modern sensibilities, he captures a vibrant cultural tapestry that speaks to both nostalgia and innovation, enabling listeners to experience cumbia in a fresh light and inviting a new generation to engage with its rhythms. Cabas approaches his music with a distinctive blend of authenticity and experimentation, seamlessly marrying live instrumentation with digital production techniques. This duality not only preserves the heart of cumbia but also infuses it with contemporary appeal, fostering an atmosphere where tradition meets modernity.
