Her commitment to preserving and revitalizing this regional sound has not only illuminated its significance but also inspired a new generation of listeners and musicians to explore the depths of Louisiana's musical heritage. By bringing Cajun music into broader conversations about Americana, she has nurtured an appreciation for its intricate rhythms and storytelling. Her approach is characterized by an authenticity that marries traditional instrumentation with a modern sensibility, creating an environment where each note feels both timeless and fresh. Savoy’s ability to weave together the organic sounds of accordion, fiddle, and guitar reflects a deep respect for the genre, while her arrangements often invite spontaneity and communal participation, encouraging audiences to connect on a deeper level.
