Through her work, she carved out a space where the intersection of sensuality and artistry could thrive, prompting audiences to reconsider the roles women could occupy in popular music. Davis's creative process is marked by a fearless experimentation with sound and groove, blending infectious rhythms with provocative lyricism. She instinctively harnesses the raw energy of funk while weaving intricate narratives that resonate on both emotional and physical levels. This innovative approach allowed her to transcend conventional song structures, creating music that feels as alive and electric as her performances. In her songwriting, Davis often explores themes of love, desire, and identity with an assertive voice that balances between sincerity and playful irony.
