About Calibro 35

Calibro 35 holds a distinctive place in the contemporary music scene, acting as a conduit between the cinematic soundtracks of the past and modern musical sensibilities.

Their influence extends beyond mere nostalgia; by resurrecting the essence of Italian film scores, they create an immersive experience that resonates with both film aficionados and music lovers alike, inviting a fresh appreciation for the art of scoring. The band’s approach intertwines live instrumentation with electronic elements, often utilizing vintage synthesizers and rhythm machines to craft a soundscape that feels at once retro and forward-thinking. This blend allows them to navigate various moods and textures, engaging listeners through dynamic compositions that feel alive and pulsing with energy. Each performance becomes an exploration of how music can evoke imagery and emotion without relying on words, a testament to their innovative spirit. Lyrically, Calibro 35 often draws upon cinematic themes, storytelling through instrumental narratives that reflect tension, adventure, and mystery. Their writing is impressionistic rather than literal, favoring mood over explicit narratives, which invites listeners to project their own experiences onto the music. This creates a sense of intimacy even in purely instrumental pieces, igniting the imagination while maintaining a cool detachment.
