By weaving together Andean melodies with the rhythms and themes of música criolla, she not only redefined traditional sounds but also captured the essence of a nation grappling with its identity during times of social change. Her music resonates deeply with audiences, evoking a profound sense of place and history that continues to inspire artists today. Granda's creative process involved a deep connection to her roots, allowing her to channel the rich tapestry of Peruvian cultural narratives into her compositions. She approached songwriting with an innate understanding of how music can serve both as a personal expression and as a communal experience, often using simplicity in instrumentation alongside complex emotional undercurrents. This method invites listeners into the world she creates, drawing them closer with each note and phrase.
