About Daughters

Daughters stands as a potent force within the punk landscape, reshaping expectations around intensity and emotional rawness.

Their music captures a visceral sense of urgency that resonates with those grappling with personal turmoil and societal disillusionment, pushing listeners to confront discomfort rather than shy away from it. Through their unapologetic approach, Daughters has cultivated a space for catharsis, encouraging audiences to embrace chaos as a path to understanding. At the heart of their craft lies an innovative melding of soundscapes characterized by jagged guitars, dissonant melodies, and unpredictable rhythms. This non-linear approach creates an environment where traditional song structures are dismantled in favor of a more instinctive exploration of feeling. Every track feels like an invitation into a frenzied dialogue about modern angst, using unorthodox arrangements to mirror the complexities of contemporary existence. Lyrically, Daughters often delves into themes of existential dread, intimacy, and the fragility of human connection. The band's voice oscillates between stark vulnerability and aggressive confrontation, employing a storytelling style that is both impressionistic and direct, leaving listeners with haunting images that linger long after the music fades. In this way, their narratives evoke a sense of shared experience while also challenging the boundaries of what punk can communicate.
