Their ability to channel themes of struggle and resilience speaks to a generation grappling with both personal and societal issues, making their music a vessel for collective expression. Duman’s presence has redefined the role of rock music in Turkey, transforming it into a powerful medium for articulating discontent and hope. The band's approach is marked by an organic fusion of traditional Turkish melodies with the gritty textures of grunge, creating an authentic sonic experience that feels both familiar and revolutionary. Their performances often exhibit a raw emotional intensity, inviting listeners into a shared space of catharsis. Utilizing layered guitar riffs backed by rhythmic prowess, they forge an atmosphere where tension and release dance together seamlessly. Lyrically, Duman often navigates the complexities of love, existential angst, and social commentary, employing a voice that oscillates between introspective sincerity and poetic irony. The storytelling is visceral yet impressionistic, allowing listeners to engage with the emotional core without being confined to specific narratives.
