Her work as a solo artist not only expands the auditory landscape but also redefines the relationship between technology and artistry, encouraging listeners to engage with sound in multifaceted ways that transcend traditional musical boundaries. Mori's approach is characterized by her innovative use of live electronics and sampling, where she wields her instruments like brushes on a canvas, creating intricate sonic tapestries that oscillate between chaos and contemplation. This dynamic interplay cultivates an immersive experience, inviting audiences to navigate through layers of texture while provoking thought about the nature of sound itself. Her performances often meld improvisation with structured elements, highlighting spontaneity as an essential aspect of musical creation. In her songwriting, Mori often explores themes of transformation and the ephemeral nature of existence, engaging with abstract narratives that evoke emotional resonance without relying on conventional storytelling.
