His exploration into the boundaries of noise and silence transforms the listening experience, prompting audiences to reconsider their perception of what constitutes music. By pushing conventional limits, Drumm cultivates a space where discomfort and beauty coexist, making his contributions not just relevant but essential for anyone navigating the avant-garde landscape. Drumm's approach is grounded in an innovative manipulation of texture and dynamics. He often employs unconventional sources and techniques—such as feedback loops, field recordings, and digital processing—to create immersive soundscapes that defy traditional song structures. This commitment to experimentation fosters a sense of unpredictability in his work, encouraging listeners to actively participate in the unfolding sonic narrative rather than passively consuming it. His songwriting tends to delve into abstract themes, focusing on the visceral quality of sound itself rather than explicit storytelling. Drumm frequently juxtaposes harsh textures with subtle nuances, cultivating a rich tapestry that evokes a spectrum of emotions—from tension to catharsis. His voice is less about lyrical content and more about the raw emotional resonance of sound, inviting interpretation through its stark contrasts and layered complexity.
