About Larry Fast

Larry Fast's contributions to the electronic music landscape have redefined how synthesizers can be employed in both composition and performance.

By pioneering a sound that intertwines intricate digital textures with emotive melodies, he has created a bridge for listeners to experience the emotional depth often associated with traditional instrumentation within the realm of electronic music. His work has inspired subsequent generations of artists to explore the boundaries of technology and emotion in sound. Fast’s innovative approach lies in his mastery of synthesizers, where he not only utilizes their capabilities but also challenges them to create new sonic environments. His live performances are notable for their immersive qualities, engaging audiences with layers of sound that evoke a sense of space and time. This dedication to exploring the technical possibilities of electronic music allows him to craft experiences that feel both personal and expansive. In his songwriting, Fast often delves into themes of futurism, introspection, and the human experience, employing a voice that ranges from contemplative to ecstatic. His lyrical content is less about narrative storytelling and more focused on painting impressionistic pictures that resonate on an emotional level, blending sincerity with a touch of irony. The result is a soundscape that invites reflection while pushing the listener toward exploration.
