By embracing the rich cultural tapestry of Brazil, she has carved out a space where Afro-Brazilian influences meet contemporary themes, challenging listeners to engage with the complexities of identity and heritage through her artistry. Her innovative approach merges rhythmic intensity and melodic warmth, often showcasing her powerful vocal delivery alongside intricate arrangements that elevate the visceral experience of her music. Menezes not only draws from the past but actively reinterprets it, creating a dialogue between generations while inviting collaborative energies into her performance spaces. This commitment to evolution allows her sound to feel alive, connected to the present moment. In her songwriting, Menezes often explores themes of love, social justice, and cultural pride, weaving personal narratives that reflect broader societal issues. Her voice oscillates between heartfelt sincerity and an engaging playfulness, employing both storytelling and impressionistic techniques to evoke deep emotional responses.
