By bridging the gap between centuries-old cultural heritage and contemporary sounds, they invite listeners to reconsider the boundaries of folk music, effectively creating a space where nostalgia and modernity coexist. This approach not only revitalizes a vital aspect of Japanese culture but also resonates on a broader scale, reflecting a growing appreciation for cross-cultural musical dialogues. The ensemble approaches their craft as a collective exploration, weaving together traditional instrumentation with elements from various genres.
