About Norman Brown

Norman Brown's work stands as a bridge between the improvisational spirit of jazz and the accessibility of contemporary music, inviting a broad audience into the world of instrumental expression.

His approach to music revolves around a deep understanding of rhythm and melody, often employing a conversational style in his guitar work that feels both personal and expansive. Brown’s performances are characterized by their warmth and fluidity, creating an atmosphere where spontaneity thrives, allowing each note to ripple with intent while maintaining a sense of openness that keeps the listener engaged. Lyrically speaking, while his music is primarily instrumental, the themes often reflect introspection, celebration, and connection.
