About Pictureplane

Pictureplane matters for his ability to weave together the threads of underground electronic music and visual art, creating a space where each element amplifies the other.

His work has helped shape a distinctive sonic atmosphere that resonates with those seeking an escape from mainstream sounds, providing a platform for self-expression and community among listeners who crave something raw and authentic. Approaching music as both a sensory experience and a means of personal exploration, Pictureplane often utilizes lo-fi aesthetics and hypnotic rhythms to create immersive soundscapes. His innovative layering techniques, combined with a bold visual aesthetic, encourage listeners to engage both emotionally and intellectually, sparking new conversations about the intersections of technology, identity, and artistry within contemporary culture. Lyrically, Pictureplane often explores themes of transformation, alternate realities, and personal liberation, frequently employing impressionistic storytelling that invites interpretation rather than straightforward narratives. His tone balances between sincerity and irony, creating a rich tapestry of feelings that resonate deeply with listeners navigating their own paths of self-discovery.
