Forster's process is marked by a deliberate simplicity that allows emotion to surface organically. He often utilizes understated instrumentation, creating a space where his lyrics can breathe, inviting listeners into the intimate world he constructs. This approach highlights the craftsmanship behind his music, making each note feel intentional and every word matter. In his songwriting, Forster commonly grapples with themes of nostalgia, longing, and personal history, balancing sincerity with irony.
