Their sound embodies a relentless energy that resonates deeply with audiences seeking authenticity and intensity, bridging the gaps between chaos and melody. This has made them a linchpin for listeners who crave something beyond the mainstream, carving out a space for catharsis through sonic experimentation. The band's approach is marked by an adventurous spirit that layers intricate rhythms with unexpected dynamics. They often oscillate between fragmented aggression and serene interludes, reflecting a commitment to pushing against the boundaries of song form. This willingness to embrace unpredictability invites listeners into a world where noise becomes a language of its own, often defying traditional expectations of composition and flow. In their songwriting, Rolo Tomassi frequently explores themes of identity, existential struggle, and emotional turbulence with a voice that combines sincerity and rawness. Their storytelling tends to veer towards impressionistic snapshots rather than linear narratives, evoking feelings rather than detailing events—creating an atmosphere that resonates on multiple levels without being overly explicit.
