Their work serves as a bridge between the cerebral and the corporeal, inviting audiences to appreciate the subtleties of rhythm and tone while still moving them to the dance floor. The duo's approach hinges on a deliberate interplay of live instrumentation and electronic production, merging organic sounds with synthesized elements to create immersive sonic environments. They often employ repetition and variation, allowing for a sense of exploration that rewards attentive listening while maintaining an infectious groove that keeps bodies in motion. Their songwriting reflects a fascination with the nuances of everyday life, often exploring themes of perception and experience through an impressionistic lens. There’s a palpable sincerity in their work that eschews overt narrative in favor of evoking mood and feeling, leading listeners to interpret the music as both personal and universal.
