What makes ATM Jam by Azealia Banks notable?

The track received mixed reviews but was notable for its production by Pharrell Williams, contributing to Banks' reputation as a distinctive voice in contemporary pop and hip-hop. Although it did not achieve chart-topping success, it played a role in shaping the sound of early 2010s dance-pop and influenced other artists within that genre. Released as a standalone single in early 2013, ATM Jam marked a transitional phase for Azealia Banks following her breakout EP, 1991. After gaining viral fame with her debut single '212', this release aimed to further establish her presence in the mainstream dance music scene.
