Elevation
Our rating, out of 100 — and why.
AI-generated from five scored dimensions. An opinion, not a measurement.
The album blends upbeat and slow tracks but lacks strong thematic cohesion across its length.
What we noticed
- The first half of the album features upbeat tracks that maintain a consistent tempo, while the second half shifts to slower ballads.
- Several songs incorporate layered vocal harmonies, with Studdard often singing lead over backing vocals that create a rich texture.
- The track 'Ain't No Party' includes a prominent brass section that contrasts with the more subdued arrangements of surrounding songs.
