About 120 Days

120 Days reshaped the landscape of rock music by infusing it with a pulse of electrifying urgency and hypnotic rhythms, drawing listeners into a deeper engagement with sound.

Their impact lies in their ability to create immersive experiences that bridge the gap between the visceral energy of live performance and the cerebral nature of recorded music, prompting an audience response that is both physical and reflective. This Norwegian band approaches songwriting as a vibrant exploration of texture and repetition, weaving together layers of sound that build tension and release throughout their tracks. By harnessing a combination of driving beats and expansive sonic spaces, they create a framework where each instrument interacts dynamically, leading to an exhilarating collective experience rather than a simple presentation of songs. Lyrically, 120 Days often delves into themes of existential uncertainty and urban life, conveying these ideas through both impressionistic imagery and more direct storytelling approaches. Their voice carries a blend of irony and sincerity, allowing listeners to connect emotionally while still engaging with the complexities of their narratives.
