His work addresses the nuances of modern life, exploring themes of love, identity, and vulnerability that invite listeners to engage with their own experiences. By articulating feelings often left unsaid, he taps into a collective consciousness that celebrates both the highs and lows of human connection. Kheng's approach is marked by an intimate songwriting process that balances poignancy with melodic accessibility. He often employs stripped-back instrumentation that allows his voice and lyrical content to take center stage, creating an atmosphere of sincerity. This rawness fosters a connection between him and his audience, as he transforms everyday moments into relatable narratives through thoughtful arrangements and subtle production techniques. His lyrics frequently blend reflective storytelling with impressionistic imagery, capturing the essence of fleeting emotions while grounding them in real-life scenarios. The tone oscillates between earnestness and irony, portraying a spectrum of vulnerabilities that resonate deeply with listeners navigating their own paths.
