Their approach has created a space where technicality meets emotional depth, attracting listeners who seek both aggression and introspection in their sound. As a significant force within the deathcore and djent scenes, they’ve pushed the boundaries of metal's possibilities, inspiring a generation of musicians to explore complex time signatures and layered arrangements. The band’s innovative use of atmospheric elements alongside blistering riffs sets them apart, allowing for moments of serenity interspersed with chaotic energy. This juxtaposition creates an immersive listening experience that challenges the listener to navigate through tumultuous soundscapes while contemplating deeper existential questions. Their commitment to crafting not just songs but sonic journeys is evident in their emphasis on creating a narrative within each composition. Lyrically, Born of Osiris often explores themes of consciousness, human struggle, and the metaphysical realm, employing a voice that oscillates between stark realism and abstract reflection. Their writing balances sincerity with an impressionistic approach, inviting listeners to draw personal interpretations from their evocative imagery.
