Peters approaches his songwriting with an intimate understanding of the storytelling potential inherent in rhythm and blues. He crafts songs that blend rich melodies with nuanced arrangements, often employing a rhythmic complexity that invites movement and engagement from his audience. This results in performances that feel both celebratory and contemplative, drawing listeners into a shared experience.
In his lyrics, Peters frequently explores themes of love, heartache, and resilience, balancing sincerity with moments of introspection. His voice carries warmth that makes the stories relatable, while his tone shifts between earnestness and subtle irony, allowing listeners to reflect on their own lives as they navigate through the soundscape he creates.
