Her work challenges traditional listening practices, prompting audiences to engage deeply with sound as both a physical and emotional experience. By merging elements of drone and microtonality, Arkbro not only expands the sonic palette but also reshapes how individuals perceive time within music. Her approach to composition is marked by a meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on sustained tones that encourage contemplation and reflection. Arkbro employs innovative techniques that often blur the lines between performance and installation, transforming spaces into immersive environments where sound becomes a shared entity. This commitment to creating an enveloping auditory landscape encourages listeners to step into the moment rather than passively consume it. Lyrically, her work often explores themes of presence, perception, and the ephemeral nature of experience, expressed through a voice that oscillates between clarity and abstraction. The storytelling is impressionistic, inviting interpretation while maintaining an ethos of sincerity—a delicate balance that resonates on various emotional frequencies.
