Hohler's creative approach emphasizes simplicity and clarity, using minimal instrumentation to highlight the emotional weight of his lyrics. This restraint allows for a direct connection between the listener and the underlying themes, creating a stark yet profound atmosphere that encourages introspection. By eschewing elaborate arrangements, he invites audiences to focus on the narrative and emotional currents flowing within each piece.
