His work has challenged listeners to reconsider the boundaries of jazz performance, opening up a dialogue between established techniques and new possibilities, thus reshaping the way audiences engage with instrumental music. Babos approaches his craft with a keen ear for texture and movement, utilizing intricate guitar techniques that weave together layers of melody and rhythm. His compositions often feature improvisation at their core, inviting spontaneity while maintaining a cohesive sound. This emphasis on fluidity allows for an ever-changing exploration of sonic landscapes that keeps listeners on their toes. Lyrically absent yet deeply emotive, Babos's music communicates through its instrumental storytelling, often exploring themes of introspection, journey, and connection. The tone is reflective yet energetic, balancing moments of serene contemplation with bursts of vivacious interplay among instruments. The result is a narrative that unfolds through musical exchanges rather than direct lyrics.
