Their sound has become a touchstone for those seeking solace in the ethereal, bridging gaps between melancholy and warm nostalgia. By cultivating an ambiance that feels both personal and universal, they provide listeners with a refuge from the frenetic pace of modern life. The duo's approach is marked by a deliberate simplicity that emphasizes mood over complexity. With sparse instrumentation and gentle arrangements, they create soundscapes that encourage deep reflection rather than mere listening. This intentional restraint allows each note to resonate more profoundly, inviting audiences to lean in closer, as if sharing a secret. Lyrically, their work often explores themes of longing, love, and the quiet struggles of daily existence, delivered through Sandoval's hauntingly soft voice. The storytelling tends to be impressionistic—a series of snapshots and feelings rather than linear narratives—imbued with a sense of wistfulness that lingers long after the last note fades. There’s an underlying sincerity that transcends irony, connecting deeply with those who experience it.
