Their nuanced approach speaks to a generation grappling with the intricacies of connection amid a backdrop of digital noise, making their music both relatable and resonant. The band's process centers around creating rich, textured soundscapes that enhance the emotional weight of their lyrics. With a focus on melody and rhythmic interplay, they craft songs that feel both intimate and expansive, often blending tight arrangements with moments of spaciousness that allow the listener to breathe within the music. This balance fosters an immersive experience where personal stories unfold against a broader sonic canvas. Lyrically, In Fiction often explores themes of longing, vulnerability, and self-discovery. Their writing approach blends sincerity with an impressionistic style, painting vivid snapshots of emotions without relying heavily on straightforward narratives. This allows listeners to engage with their songs on different levels, drawing personal meaning from the evocative imagery and heartfelt expressions.
