Her presence challenges the mainstream by integrating cultural storytelling into the fabric of pop and rock, encouraging listeners to engage with themes often marginalized in popular discourse. This approach fosters a deeper appreciation for Indigenous experiences, amplifying voices that resonate with both personal and collective identity. Her creative process is marked by an unflinching exploration of self and community, blending her heritage with experimental sounds. Iskwé employs innovative production techniques that allow traditional motifs to coexist within contemporary arrangements, creating a soundscape where past and present converge. This not only redefines what it means to be an artist in today's music scene but also reshapes audience expectations around authenticity and representation. Lyrically, Iskwé often navigates themes of resilience, love, and identity, employing a storytelling approach that is both intimate and expansive. Her tone oscillates between reflective sincerity and bold assertiveness, inviting listeners into her world while urging them to confront broader societal issues. This duality enhances the emotional weight of her music, making each song feel like a personal confession and a call to action.
