About Juan María Solare

Juan María Solare is a pivotal figure in contemporary classical and electroacoustic music, reshaping how listeners engage with sound through innovative compositions that challenge traditional boundaries.

His work not only showcases a deep understanding of classical traditions but also integrates modern technology, creating a space where the acoustic and the digital coexist fluidly, encouraging audiences to reconsider their relationship with both forms. Solare’s approach is marked by an exploratory spirit, often employing unconventional techniques and soundscapes that evoke a sense of wonder and introspection. He carefully manipulates textures, layering organic sounds with electronic elements to create immersive auditory experiences. This process invites listeners into a dialogue with the music, prompting them to actively participate in the unfolding narrative rather than merely observing. Lyrically and thematically, Solare's work often reflects on concepts of time, memory, and perception. His storytelling tends to lean toward impressionistic imagery, evoking emotions and thoughts without relying on explicit narratives.
