About Marc Rebillet

Marc Rebillet matters because he embodies the spirit of spontaneity in contemporary music, transforming the way live performance can engage with audiences.

By merging humor and high-energy interaction with his audience, Rebillet creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and electrifying, turning each show into a unique experience rather than a mere replication of recorded music. His work invites listeners to participate in an increasingly participatory culture where the artist-audience relationship is redefined through real-time collaboration. Rebillet’s approach is rooted in improvisation, often utilizing looping technology to layer sounds and create intricate compositions on the spot. This innovative method not only showcases his musical talent but also highlights the immediacy of creativity, allowing him to respond dynamically to the energy in the room. Each performance becomes a living, breathing entity, shaped by the moment and the collective mood of his audience. Lyrically, Rebillet often explores themes of desire, absurdity, and human connection, weaving together playful narratives with a candid tone. His storytelling tends toward the impressionistic, capturing fleeting thoughts or feelings in a way that feels both relatable and spontaneous. The sincerity in his delivery contrasts with moments of irony, making for an engaging emotional tapestry that resonates deeply with listeners.
