Their music resonates with a generation seeking authenticity, bridging personal narratives with broader human experiences, and inviting listeners to reflect on their own lives while embracing the quirkiness of existence. Their approach is marked by a do-it-yourself ethos that fosters intimacy and warmth. Emphasizing lo-fi production and unconventional arrangements, they cultivate a sound that feels both accessible and distinctly original. This independence allows them to explore rich textures and layered instrumentation that often defy traditional song structures, creating an unpredictable yet cohesive listening experience. Lyrically, Margot often explores themes of vulnerability, longing, and the absurdity of everyday life. Their storytelling blends sincerity with an ironic twist, crafting vivid snapshots that evoke emotion without becoming overly sentimental. This interplay between earnest reflection and playful wit gives their songs a relatable depth that resonates long after the final note fades.
