His work stands out not just for its catchy hooks but for its grounding in relatable experiences, inviting audiences to connect deeply with the nuances of joy and melancholy alike. Emphasizing a DIY ethos, Morén approaches music-making with an open-hearted sincerity that often incorporates elements from his broader sonic neighborhood while also playing with structure and production techniques. This earnestness is evident in how he crafts each song, using both traditional instrumentation and digital elements to create a rich tapestry of sound that feels personal yet universally appealing. His songwriting frequently explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery, merging storytelling with impressionistic imagery that evokes emotional landscapes rather than straightforward narratives. The tone fluctuates between reflective and hopeful, allowing listeners to feel both the weight of introspection and the lightness of celebration within his lyrics.
