The duo's innovative approach centers around crafting layered textures and pulsating beats that invite listeners into a hypnotic state. They employ an organic method of sound manipulation, utilizing field recordings and live instrumentation to build a rich sonic tapestry that feels both intimate and expansive. This hands-on process fosters a palpable sense of authenticity, allowing each track to breathe while maintaining a driving momentum.
Lyrically, Safeway often explores themes of urban life and human connection, weaving narratives that resonate on both personal and collective levels. Their storytelling is marked by sincerity, balancing introspective moments with broader reflections on communal experiences.
