By weaving the devotional intensity of qawwali with contemporary sensibilities, he creates a sonic space where spirituality and modernity coexist, encouraging listeners to engage with diverse cultural narratives in an increasingly polarized world. His work invites reflection and connection, reminding audiences of the universal threads that bind us. Ben Tzur's approach is marked by a deep respect for the traditions he draws from while infusing them with a fresh perspective. His innovative use of instrumentation and rhythmic patterns expands the parameters of what qawwali can express, crafting soundscapes that resonate with both ancient heritage and present-day experience. This blend fosters a communal atmosphere in his performances, where the audience becomes an integral part of the experience rather than mere listeners. His storytelling tends to lean toward impressionistic rather than linear narratives, capturing fleeting emotions and moments of introspection.
