Their music embodies a rebellious spirit that has sparked renewed interest in DIY aesthetics and grassroots movements within a genre often dominated by male-led narratives. By challenging conventions, they’ve reinvigorated discussions around female representation and agency in rock music. Their approach to songwriting is marked by a blend of sharp wit and visceral emotion, often employing clever storytelling techniques to capture complex feelings with simplicity. By layering gritty instrumentation with playful yet poignant lyrics, they create an atmosphere that feels both raw and polished, drawing listeners into their world where irony meets sincerity. Themes in their songs frequently revolve around empowerment, disillusionment, and the intricacies of relationships, delivered through a voice that oscillates between defiance and vulnerability. This duality allows them to engage listeners on multiple levels, crafting narratives that invite reflection while maintaining an unmistakable edge.
