Bashan's approach is marked by a haunting simplicity, often utilizing minimalistic arrangements that allow his voice to shine through. He crafts songs that feel both intimate and expansive, carefully layering instrumentation that complements his lyrical depth without overshadowing it. This method encourages listeners to engage with each piece on multiple levels—emotionally, intellectually, and sonically. His songwriting often revolves around themes of identity, love, and longing, conveyed through an authentic and conversational tone.
